WorldCup Rantings
The English Team is out of the 2006 WorldCup!Simply Unbelievable! Utterly dissapointing..
They are supposedly to be a strong team with famous good players but luck is not by their side. When I relished the crucial moment of the penalty kicks; it is obvious that England is just plain unlucky- especially when Gerrard missed that ultimate important penalty shoot. Oh well, better luck next time people! There goes the genuine chance of catching those dreamy English players in action. And yes, I have to agree with the rest of the female population; Beckham is one sexy football player! Fine. That came real late. Before, I was actually irritated by girls who swooned Beckham shamelessly. And I actually thought he was a lousy player who have to rely on his poster-boy look to gain popularity. I admit, I was wrong. Well, you cannot blame me for being a football-airhead; I do not watch the English Premier League. Simply not interested and cannot be bothered. If you think that I am such a bimbo; at least, I know the existence of such League and thus, I am not as ignorant as some girls are! Bend-it-like Beckham is a good player, after all and Victoria is soooo lucky to have such an adorable English soccer captain for a husband. -winks-
This WorldCup is heating up! Semis are next week and for once, Brazil is out. That means, any team- Germany, France, Italy and Portugal, is able to walk away with that honourable FIFA WorldCup trophy. How exciting!
Besides catching world-class players out-wit, out-last and out-play each other, girls can also have the most delightful opportunity of getting glimpses of those good-looking hunks. I seriously think that soccer players make the best husbands- most of them are gorgeous, they have good bods, they are rich and popular, their 'work' only involved playing soccer with other lads and thus, the probability of the existence of other ladies is quite minimal and you have ample opportunities to travel with them on their soccer tournaments. How cool is that?! Nevertheless, this view holds for foreign soccer players only. Dont ask me why because you should know why.
