  Christmas@KL
Happy US!

Karaoke session at this sleazy place.

The five cars on the roadtrip.

The three ladies @Putrajaya.
Me in front of the great view minus the ugly patch on the field.

The ManHattan Bridge of Malaysia.

Majestic scenery of the mosque in Putrajaya.

We visited it! Its like a whole new town by itself with great architectures minus the horrible traffic.

Our free drinks at PizzaHut. We were waiting for our takeaway pizzas when this flirty aka gatal waiter gave us drinks on the house. Would have like it if it isnt FN Orange. So 'Makcik-Makcik' drink.

My lunch at Nandos. KL has a wide variety of food outlets unlike Singapore where there arent many restaurants which are HALAL.
Great shopping spot. Its the Takashimaya of KL.

View from the KLCC bridge.

US before we were being scooted away. Visitors were only given ten minutes to wonder about and admire the scenery on the bridge.

Me against the marvellous backdrop at the KLCC bridge.

The Little Princesses playing a make-believe Christmas morning. Cute.

My White Christmas with speckles of reds. As if!

Ana and I on the steps outside KLCC

Me taking a BIG bite...

Notice our smiley faces. We were ecstatic with our delicious purchase of donuts. Yummy... Honestly, I can eat all those mouth-watering donuts by myself! Especially the Boston Cream and the chocolate-filled ones.

I totally dig this particular food outlet. It is rather depressing that we do not have one in Singapore.

Having luncheon at Suria KLCC food court.

Posing in front of the Mosque

The LRT directory. In my opinion, many of the stations have weird names such as "Masjid Jamek" and "Jelatek." But the most classic example is the station which goes by the name of "Abdullah Hukum." Wonder who was the fellow...

Romzy, Wan and Abang Izz were figuring out the workings of the LRT system. We decided to take the train to Petaling.

Cuzzins at the Park

The Zone. Our Home for the three days spent in KL.

Three lovely ladies Hehee... We were on our way to Suria KLCC and decided to snap some shots

View from the suite apartment of the mosque, busked by lush greeneries. Splendid.

Majestic view of the Petronas Tower and the mosque.

  Im Back!
Hello people! Im back after a good holiday trip! Spending Christmas in KL was splendid although I missed my all-time favourite companion-HP laptop and of course, my sweetie pie who was stuck with the awfully cold rainy weather in Singapore.
I have to admit that KL isnt really that fantastic after all since we often frequent there every six months or so but yes, it beats staying in Singapore. It was really wonderful to get away from all the work and responsibilities for a while and just indulged in pure fun. The trip should have been longer.....

Just a blowed-up image of myself. Hehe... I like my orange shades :)

Been a while since I last wrote in....

I am now in the midst of preparing for the Harvard United Nations conference which will be in Feb. Goodness! The amount of workload is quite heavy. Dhilla and I are assigned to the Special Political and Decolonization committee of the UN's General Assembly. It is rather irritating actually since the topics that we will be discussing are beyond our areas of study. Get this, the topics are on minority ethnic politics focusing on INDIGENOUS people in South America and Africa and the political future of Iraq. Hell, I know nuts about those Latino politics and the only thing that I can relate to about Africa is the Darfur issue. Certainly, those delegates from South American region have an edge over us. Urgh!!! And yes, the only indigeneous people I know are those who live in Taman Negara in Malaysia-the Batek Negrito. Thats it. Hopefully, we will be concentrating on Iraq case study. At least, I have some knowledge on it although not so much on the domestic front. Gosh... we really need to read up a lot. It will be like a whole new ball game.

Anyways, I seriously cant wait for the Feb trip. We will be spending about six days in Boston for the conference before heading off to New York for three days. Before returning back home, we will be going to Washington DC for two days. Gee... how exciting it will be. Basically, we will be covering the popular spots of the East Coast of America. Needless, the conference in Boston will be really intensive and tiring but hopefully fun. It will be like debating in the real UN organization where delegates from different countries will negotiate with each other and forming alliances, before reaching a resolution. -Anticipating for much excitement-

Oh yes! I will be staying in hostel next semester at the nicest residential in NUS-Prince George Park! Hehehee... how wonderful and my room will have a washbasin too. Cool right? It will be quite lonenly staying alone without the usual sister around me but sometimes, one need to make some sacrifices. I have to prepare for the Harvard conference which involves writing position papers and I will be working on my ISM. Basically, I will be making many trips to the Central Library for research and it seems convenient to stay in hostel for my last semester in NUS. Although I live in Jurong, it usually take me an hour to reach school, all thanks to the pathetic and inefficient bus service.

Okay enough of work. I realize that I tend to talk about work a lot. Sheesh... Will be going for a roadtrip to KL later. Yes, LATER. As in 4am in the morning. I know. It sounds ridiculous. Tell that to my dad and the rest of the family members. And urgh.. I have to drive later. Dont really fancy driving when Im on holiday. Driving to KL is really tiring. I will be stoning for at least an hour after that.

So take care people especially Mr Big Brown Eyes. Will be back with lovely photos of the trip soon.

  Some thoughts
The week had been a rather busy one. On Saturday, we did a community work with, you wont believe it, SINDA! Haha.... yup yup. Not Mendaki but Sinda. Well, we were assigned to distribute some school stuffs to the needy students. Nevertheless, the response wasnt that terrific and encouraging. Not many people turned up to get their free stuffs. Yes, these stuffs such as shoes, bags and diaries are free-of-charge and yet, these people didnt even bother to turn up! Talk about turning away from people who are most willing to help them out. Anyways, it was really a long, tiring and hot day. Much as I hate to admit, I was actually pretty glad that the community deed was over so that I can meet Mr Idaly. I am not mean, in fact, I dont mind spending my afternoons doing volunteer work. However, I felt quite useless since we spent most of the time sitting around as there werent many people who turned up.

Honestly, it is quite pitiful as SINDA does not have enough volunteers. Hell, they even 'borrowed' some of us to execute certain programs since they do not have sufficient people. How pathetic right? Rather than joining some useless dance competition on the Vasantham Central or taking part in the Miss Vasantham beauty pagent, I think it will be more enriching for the teenagers to concentrate their energies on helping the Indian community at large.

Enough of my dissatisfaction. These past few days have been awfully wet spells. Brrrrr.... so cold! When the weather gets too cold, you just dont feel like doing anything except to snuggle in bed with a good book under the blanket. I went to the library recently to grab some good novels for some blissful indulgence. Got myself some trashy mindless books- it has been ages since I last read such easy stuffs. And some classics by Jane Austen and Charles Dickens so as to feed the brain with great literature works. Im now a contented individual -smiles-

Okay.. I need to get off. Have to attend to some appointments today. Hopefully, the rain will stop. I seriously dont feel like walking around in my sweater with an umbrella, feeling all cold and alone.

The Political Science Honours gang @Ainie's

Its 4.25am and I am wide awake. No thanks to my 'nap' at 12am just now. I woke up suddenly at 3am and here I am! Just uploaded some photos in my Multiply (check it out). These past two days had been an endless ride of fun, fun and more fun. Hey! We deserve it after a hard semester of sloughing. Potluck @Ainie's was really awesome! There was so much food and desserts. I realize that many of the guys are actually quite domesticated. Herman cooked pasta which tasted good whereas Leo baked mudpies and Tiramisu. Imagine that! Mudpies and Tiramisu. I cant even bake a perfect chocolate cake! Made me feel less of a woman. Hehe.... We played some mindless games which turned out to be rather CRAZY! "The truth or dare" was starkly uncensored. I never knew that PS guys are such horny beings. I shall not go into details because its just way too gross. Anyways, thanks Ainie for the wonderful evening! It was a great opportunity for a real bonding session with the PS peeps.

Day 2 saw us having lunch with Prof Quah in the PS Lounge. The food was good and we had a great time chatting with Prof Quah. Hes such a caring lecturer and it had been a very fruitful conversation with him. And after that, we went to Cineleisure to watch 'The Holidays'!!! That was one hell of a bloody sweeeeeeet movie Ive ever watched! Jude Law was godly gorgeous and with the British accent, he can make any girl weak in the knees. The script is well-written and there are many thought-provoking quotes. On top of that, there are snippets of witty moments throughout the film.

Hmmmm.... maybe I just like Christmas movies. Weird, right? Well, Christmas movies tend to have wonderful plots which usually centered around love or family issues where the endings are often happy ones. Dearly remind me of fairytales.

Oh yes.. I will be away for Christmas. Am damn sick of Singapore. Although Im just going across the Causeway (since I cannot afford luxurious holidays), it will still be a good breather for me. Cant wait for my Boston trip. Dhilla and I have been talking about it endlessly. We need to get out of Asia! Come to think of it, I would rather go to England and see the Thames river, the London bridge and of course, rural England where the quaint English cottages can be found. Nevertheless, Im not born with a silverspoon in my mouth and so, I am quite thankful that at the very least, Im going SOMEWHERE instead of NOWHERE.

  Christmast Lights Outing @ Orchard
This may sound rather insane but I actually love Christmas! Orchard Rd has never looked more beautiful and enchanting during the Christmas period. Malls offer various discounts and pretty gifts packages at low prices. And everyone seems to be in high spirits maybe due to end-of-year bonuses and holidays. Certainly, there is something magical about Christmas. Baby and I went to Orchard yesterday night for a splendid outing. Needless to say, it was a great one since we managed to catch numerous colourful Christmas decorations.

My fruitful trip to the malls brought me great satisfaction. I bought some Clinique cosmetics at Tangs, a pair of orange Diesel shades and dresses from the flea market. The flea market was wonderful. There were rows and rows of small stalls selling unique items such as clothes, shoes, bags, jewellery etc at great discounts. Many of the things are not even commercially available so the chances of running into someone wearing the same dress as you is actually quite slim. Pretty hooked to the concept of shopping at flea markets. Goodness, its even better than Bugis!

Nevertheless, something happened while we were making our way around Orchard Road. I was carrying my purchases in the Tangs paperbag when this auntie came up to me. She wanted my receipt of my purchase because Tangs is having a promotion. Gift vouchers or some sort of free items will be given if a shopper is able to accumulate about 300 bucks of shopping value from various receipts. The auntie had the cheek to ask me for my receipt so that she can claim the prize. For God's sake, doesnt she have any shame? Imagine asking a stranger for her receipt so that she can get some free items. I said a curt no and walked off. Fucking irritating! These typical kiasu Singaporeans are driving me nuts! Although I bought my cosmetics at Tangs for about 100 bucks, I wont even dream of handing over the receipt to her. No way! You want a prize? Go earn it yourself!

It seems to me that there are more buskers nowadays in Singapore. Cool. I like them. They usually perform eccentric items which are rather entertaining. For instance, this group of musicians were blowing windpipes to the music of ABBA. Lovely.

This is a very interesting item. This couple pretended to be statues and boy, dont they really look like real ones? I thought so. It must be really tiring to stand there, looking dumb in painted silver from head to toe and pretending to be statues with minimal movements. Sheeeshhh...

OOOOhhhh.... I love this tree! The golden tree of precious stones. Splendid isnt it? Although I looked quite awful in this picture since SOMEBODY did not know how to snap pictures.

The tree, again. Just look at those 'rubies', 'amethyst', 'opel' and what nots lining the tree bark. Plus, I think I took a pretty good picture of the landscape AND the portrait. Not just the landscape only.

Another enchanting picture by your truly. Take a look at the bird in the golden cage.

I love the golden castle! Reminds me of fairytales; of princes, of princesses and of knights in shining armours. Hehehee...
And urgh.. I looked weird in this picture since SOMEBODY could not take a perfect picture.

Hmmmmm..... I never knew that Baby has Brown eyes.

We were going to catch a Spanish movie but there was no timings and we ended up having desserts at Cineleisure. There was a gig organized by Lime besides the Cineleisure and guess who we saw.....

Hady Mirza! Okay, Im not really into him and this whole Idol thingy but its pretty cool to be able to catch him performing without having that intention in the first place. He sounded good although I think he does not have much fashion sense. Just check out those ugly red sweater with neon green letterings. Mighty Ooopssss....

End of the day: Smiley US. Glorious night out.

  Vivo Outing
Just US. My three lovely ladies The greatest friends on earth!
Its official. They are my bridesmaids for my wedding. -Smiles-

Urmmmmm..... Im not really sure about this picture tho. Maybe it was supposedly to be vogue or something.

Heheheee... This is the so-called class photo pose. Very goody-two-shoes...

Thanks Dhilla Dear for the beautiful earrings! She bought a whole package of them Bangkok and we had a fun time choosing them! Intan was advising Nad on which pair of earrings is the most suitable for her while I snapped the moment away.

Oooohhh... arent those earrings simply lovely? I told Nad to choose the orange chandelier pair because it is the ultimate glam! She did :)

We are supposedly to post ala boy band but it did not really turn out quite right. Need to practice more. Heheheheee....

As promised, these are the pictures taken during the Vivo outing. Actually, I did a collage of it but it turned out to be rather unsatisfactory.

Simply Splendid! And oh yes, these three lovely ladies have finally, officially launched their blogs. YAY!!! It will be sooo coooool

And yes, Nad. We should catch a movie together next week. Maybe the Christmas show since Jude Law is in it. I need my dosage of Jude Law anyway. Heheheeee......

LIBERATION DAY!!!

Hello World... Im back with much anticipated vindication! The hellish examinations are over. LIKE FINALLY!!! Ive been waiting for ages for this particularly sweet moment. No more pouring over readings, notes and whats not. No more thinking about the various seminars and topics that needed to be covered asap. No more grumblings. No more late night muggings. Yay!! Now if I ever want to stay up late, it is out of my own accord not because I have to finish up work. -Blissful look-

There are tons of things in stored for me during this short but hopefully, satisfying holiday. Firstly, I will try to constantly update my blog and jazz it up further. And yes, My multiply is up and running too. I want to brush up my photoshop skills so that more fabulous-looking collages can be posted up. Indulging in such online acts entices me a lot. It just feels sensational to showcase the product of your hard work within the realm of cyberworld where millions and millions of people have access to it. Thats how I feel although I think that not many are aware of my stuffs online since I hardly advertise them.

Yesterday, we had a girly outing at Vivo after our last paper of the semester. I made a small collage of our outing but it doesnt look that great. Oh well... it was hastly done during the morning wee hours. I couldnt sleep last night since my biological clock is distorted. And thus, I decided to do something 'constructive'.

Hmmmm.... I missed Prison Break yesterday. All thanks to my insurance thingy. Urgh... And I need to meet my insurance adviser again to further consolidate the policy plan.

I have to say this out loud. The babes and I are absolutely, exceptionally and exclusively CRAZY about Wentworth Miller! Boy, isnt he such a cutie. A real hot cutie, I must say. I missed yesterday's episode where he actually stripped down to his boxers. Goodneess! Just my luck hehehe.... Its allright tho, whats a Youtube for, right?! -Smiles-

Hmmmm... this is such a random post. I have been flicking from one topic to another. Guess thats how my brains work, so please bear with me. Dum de dum.... Let me recall what lies ahead for me.. Oh yes! An outing with my Babyboy whom I hardly meet during the exams period, a potluck with Political Science mates at Ainie's, lunch with Prof, more outings with the girls, beach trips, a KL holiday and most importantly I need to find a job! I must save up for the Boston trip in Feb. Cant simply go to Boston and New York with hardly any cool cash. That will be such an ultimate dissapointment. Need to hatch up a brilliant financial plan.

Okay.. enough for now. It is such a lazy afternoon today that I just feel like curling up in bed all day long. It is really wonderful not to have any work burdening my thoughts. I can spend hours twiddling with my laptop doing mindless things such as watching video-blogs on youtube and checking out music videos. Or even chatting aimlessly with friends on MSN and surfing for crappy tabloids. Heheheheee.... I love it. I love it. I love it.

Fucked Up. That's the only word to describe how I feel now. Thanks to the bloody exams, I could not attend an array of weddings ever since last week. Yes, it is such a ridiculous conincidence that practically everyone who is getting married, is having their weddings during these two weekends. How swaaaayyy.....

I feel slightly out of place actually. Jeez.. some of the brides and grooms are as old as me and they are getting married. On the other hand, yours truly, is still stuck in school and trying to endure the most torturous moment of a student's life-exams. Reality hit! Im still just a plain student. And I am already 22 years old. No. Oh wait. Im already 23 years old! Gee... age is catching up on me. I cant even remember my real age.

The point that I am trying to make is that; although we may be of the same age, there are people out there who have move on to the next stage of life whereas I am still stuck at one stage. Talk about sour grapes. No. Dont get me wrong. Its not that I want to get married and have kids when I just blew my 23rd candle. Its just that I feel left out. Left out in this game of life.

Cant wait to get out of this routined student life. Entering the working world may not necessarily be a bed of roses but at least, its a new breather for me.

I do not why I am here when I should be doing work. I guess, I need a mini-break. Am now in the midst of exams. Feeling pretty down and bored. Exams just got that effect on me.

I am getting thinner thanks to my always-forget-to-eat attitude and instead, I am basically living on a diet of chocolates, sweets and Pocky! Jeez... So unhealthy... Sweetie said Im anorexic...And I just wearily implied that I have no appetite for constructive food.

At the same time, my biological clock has gone haywire. I cannot sleep at night anymore and will tend to stay awake till 6am in the morning. And then, I will get sleepy in the afternoon and will take long naps in the day. Utterly muddling. I should just move to London or something so that at the very least, my biological clock synchornizes with the time. Now, I am doing the opposite of what typical Singaporeans are doing; sleeping while they are awake, vice versa.

Basically all boils down to the fact that I am now a weird person as I am suffering from an eating disorder and jumbled up sleeping patterns. Plus, the fact that I am addicted to 'eccentric' activites which I would rather not talk about it since it would freak out others.
Sheeesh..... dont come near me

PS: Wentworth Miller is just so adorable. I can just get lost in those deep, intense blue eyes. And he is intellectually inclined. And he has a sensual voice. And he is from England!
Goodness.. I better stop raving about him before someone gets pissed off (yes, Im referring to you, sweetie)
