I have to admit this. I am beginning to dread going to classes. Oh no.. this cannot be happening! Senior students should be more enthusiastic to attend lessons and all. Well.. Im not. I mean, I do love lessons, most of them are rather interesting and enticing. Nevertheless, I am dreading to set my foot in school. The journey, especially in the morning during the bloody peak hours is Simply horrible. Thank goodness, tomorrow's friday. Looking forward to the Next Wave show after Public Policy lesson.
The IMF finally kicked off yesterday and yes, I have been hearing and watching endlessly about it from the media. It seems to me that this whole IMF thingy is kind of ironic in the sense that people spend huge sums of money and effort just to get a whole group of high-ranking people to sit down together in the same room to TALK. What a wastage of resources. The whole process itself is too extravagant and I personally believe that they should have channelled some of the resources to better causes instead. IMF, itself is an economic giant and thus, it should allocate most of its resources to its main agenda rather than serving unnecessary goals.
Whatever.... I still have doubts with multilateral institutions such as the IMF and WorldBank. Certainly, they did not do much justice especially to the Third World states.
Okay... Public policy readings: Check Framework of the readings: half-Check
Getting ready to go dreamland now. Toodles :)
